Hi Tappers!
Tapped Ba-you, LLC was created solely by me, Courtney Broussard - a native of Jeanerette, LA. I am a mom of two adventurous and sports enthused boys, a board member for the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival & Fair Association, a member of Leadership Iberia Class XXII, the 2020 Grand Marais Mardi Gras Queen and Owner/Founder of Get Lit With Marquee Party Supply & Event Rental Company. A non-stop busy involved lifestyle is what I truly admire. I believe the best possible life is not built by the excuse of not living to your full potential. It is nice to sit back and enjoy the moment but even in the ball park my mind is racing on what is the next project I can get involved with, committee opportunity or new business venture idea. “Hustle and heart will set you apart” is a quote I truly believe in.
For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamed of becoming a business owner. More importantly, a woman business owner that built an empire on her own!! I had no clue what type of business, no guidebook, nor a family business to take over. I was determined to find my way and never give up on my dream. Thankfully today I have created a mobile bar business that you all will wonder why was it not introduced earlier!!
As we all have been affected by COVID, I tried daily to find the positives out of the life disturbance. Fortunately, I was able to work my full time job throughout the pandemic but being furloughed from my waitressing weekend job gave me the time to sit back and thoroughly think about what my next step could be. My decision came down to either: sacrificing quality time with my boys waitressing or sacrificing quality time with my boys building a business they can one day be a part of and proudly have a mom that built a company from scratch! The love I have built waitressing for my many request customers will forever be important to me. When I started waitressing in 2016 I had no prior experience and even assumed I would hate it. Within a blink of an eye, it was my specialty!!! I looked forward to having the opportunity to satisfy a guest with great service and crafting an unforgettable experience and most importantly having fun doing so. However, I wanted something more from it. I wanted to find a way to expand my hospitality ability. Tapped Ba-you is now my new life asset - a mobile tap bar serving Acadiana and beyond - that I cannot wait to introduce you too!
